The King Kneeled Down
source: ANPA 26.04.2006 12:14

Finally the King kneeled down before the brave Nepali people. He was forced to restore the parliament that was dissolved 4 years before. He accepted the roadmap of the 7 political parties to restore the full democracy and peace in the country.

Day after tomorrow the parliament is going to be resumed and will form a multiparty government. This government will announce an election of the constituent assembly, which has also been the main demand of the all major agitating political parties and the Maoist. This government will work towards bringing them in the main stream political process through their 12 points of understanding.

The agitating political parties have called off their protest programs. All the political prisoners have also got released. Thank you for your support and solidarity and hope to get your support also in future.
