There are different groups and initiatives working on that issue locally, dogmatic left, social democrats but also libertarian and anarchist groups and projects. At some part we communicate with each other, on others there are different strategies and aims (as generall)

there are allready preperations to involve local groups for activities in berlin, hamburg and rostock, the cities who are nearby and also to make camps next to the summit, which will take place in the countryside at the baltic sea.

An infotour was formed allready short time after scotland g8 2005, which is consisting of people travelling and mobilising, providing also anarchist information. They formed a wiki at:

where you find also english information plus the tourdates till now. they did allready a lot of workshops and meetings all over europe (east and west) and provide some usefull informations.

the focus for this year was a preperation and action camp, which took place near Heiligendamm in August with a few hundret people, for more infos see:
