Group for Legal Support of the Network Against G8
(NAG8) was founded at the international coordination
meeting of NAG8 in february 2006. The main tasks of
group are:
- information gathering about repression against
people
and groups who are suspected of protests preparing
for the summit G8 in St.Petersburg
- legal and informational support of people who are
aim of repression
- spreading information about cases of persecution
of participants of protests and participants of
protests preparation process.
We completely share foundations of Network Against G8.
We need help of professional lawyers and translators.

Selbstdarstellung:
Die Legal Support Gruppe des Netzwerkes gegen G8 (NAG8) wurde auf dem internationalen Koordinationstreffen von NAG8 im Februar 2006 gegründet. Die wesentlichen Aufgaben der Gruppe sehen wir in:
- Sammeln von Informationen über Repressionen gegen
Menschen und Gruppen, die verdächtigt werden,
Proteste gegen den G8 in St.Petersburg vorzubereiten
- rechtliche Unterstützung von Leuten, die Ziel
staatlicher Repressionen sind
- Verbreiten von Informationen über Übergriffe auf Protestierende und Protest Vorbereitende
Wir teilen die Grundsätze des Netzwerkes gegen G8.

Peoples' Global Action Conference in Europe
France/ Switzerland, 19th August - 3rd September 2006
PGA - People's Global Action - started in 1997. It has been a tool and a diffuse structure coordinating groups and people sharing common struggles and practices, in accordance with various anticapitalist and anti-authoritarian principles (see hallmarks). PGA initiated the Intercontinental caravan in 1999, as well as international action days of actions against the G8, the WTO, the World Bank, the IMF... In Seattle, Genoa, Prague, and in a number of less mediatic events, PGA was a driving force behind numerous actions and reflections. Amidst counter-summits, social forums & various actions, groups close to the PGA are now looking for new drives to challenge stagnation.

Tuesday 28th March 2006 saw over a million workers take part in the largest one day strike in Britain since the general strike of 1926. Every town, borough and city in the country saw workers set up multiple picket lines to defend their pension rights. This attack on pension rights is part of the global neo-liberal attack on welfare, employment rights and the environment that is provoking a wave of global resistance. On the same day just across the channel in France millions of workers were also on the streets and on strike.

On the 13th, 14th, 15th of February 2006 a court case against two Swiss police officers took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Michael Deiss and Claude Poget were charged with causing bodily harm through negligence. They were in court after nearly killing climbers Martin Shaw and Gesine Wenzel during the protests against the G8 in Evian. On Friday 17 February the
verdict of this private prosecution came through with an acquittal of the two policemen [Read verdict press release (doc. File) by Martin and Gesine].

La parade “Dance out WEF” aura lieu le 14 Janvier pour la 4ème fois à Berne. Ainsi nous voulons montrer notre mécontentement, que au “World Economic Forum” à Davos - derrière des portes closes - des décisions seront prises qui concernent notre future.
Nous n'acceptons pas qu'il y aille quelques personnes qui se remplissent les poches sans respect pour l’aspect social, l’écologie et sans authentification démocratique. L’indifférence de ces gents aggrave la situation entre les pauvres et les riches.

Rage against the NATO war conference – they make war, we make trouble
The days of war-planners meeting in Munich, going largely unnoticed by the general public, are a thing of the past. Meanwhile they have to barricade themselves behind a mass of police units because in the last few years thousands of people have confronted the military's generals, the war ministers and the arms lobbyists/dealers with their resistance.
There are reasons enough for this. The German armed forces (Bundeswehr) celebrate in their 50th year of existence as a globally active "peace-keeping" force and increase their participation in the "war on terrorism" not only in Afghanistan. The USA and Great Britain and their occupying regime in Iraq have created a system that in reality offers the Iraqi people only terror and a fight for survival.
The rulers in the EU continue to aspire to the formation of a European military force despite the failure to implement a Europe-wide constitution: The supposed protection from terrorist attacks serves as a convenient springboard for racist exclusion tactics, repression and deprivation of human, civil and international rights.
For these reasons the exponents of such policies are getting together in Munich’s Hotel Bayerischer Hof from 3rd to 5th February 2006.
Let’s prepare a suitable reception for them!

Am 14. Januar 2006 führen wir zum vierten Mal die Tanzparade "Dance out WEF" durch. Wir wollen so unseren Unmut darüber kundtun, dass am World Economic Forum in Davos einmal mehr hinter Verschlossenen Türen über die Zukunft von uns allen entschieden wird. Wir akzeptieren nicht, dass einige wenige ohne Rücksicht auf soziale und ökologische Aspekte und jenseits von nachhaltigen, zukunftsorientierten Grundsätzen nur immer weiter ihre eigenen Taschen füllen. Mit einer beängstigenden Gleichgültigkeit wird der Spalt zwischen Arm und Reich ständig vergrössert - vielleicht nicht einmal gewollt, aber doch bewusst in Kauf genommen.

African refugees are trying to cross very dangerous fences from Morocco into the Spanish enclaves Ceuta and Melilla on the African continent. Some were shot, many wounded. A lot were deported in these past weeks, some were left in the Sahara desert to die.

A las cuatro y once horas del día 5 de octubre de 2005 más de 1000 inmigrantes subsaharianos están deportados por las autoridades marroquíes en pleno desierto del Sáhara. Se han contabilizado catorce muertes hasta este momento, una chica nigeriana acaba de fallecer.
El tiempo cuenta en un desierto donde no pueden encontrar ni agua para beber.
Since the past week, Moroccan Authorities are responsible of Sub-Saharan immigrants' deportations to the Sahara Dessert, on Argelian territory.
They don't have into account any agreement to accept these deportations.
Deported immigrants are in an arid zone with just sand, no town, no food, no water.
There are declarations that report about eight deaths (one woman among them) and a undetermined number of disappeared persons.
Sub-Saharan's original countries are numerous: Congo RCD, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, Liberia, Cameroon, Senegal, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Congo, Brazzaville, Gambia, Niger, Somalia, Sudan etc...
