On Wednesday, May 9th, 2007. the police raided more than 40 book shops, housing co-operatives, info centres, anti-racist initiatives in order to get hold of information on the radical anti-g8-activities. All this was justified with the alleged formation of a terrorist organisation.

Group for Legal Support of the Network Against G8
(NAG8) was founded at the international coordination
meeting of NAG8 in february 2006. The main tasks of
group are:
- information gathering about repression against
people
and groups who are suspected of protests preparing
for the summit G8 in St.Petersburg
- legal and informational support of people who are
aim of repression
- spreading information about cases of persecution
of participants of protests and participants of
protests preparation process.

We completely share foundations of Network Against G8.

Die Legal Support Gruppe des Netzwerkes gegen G8 (NAG8) wurde auf dem internationalen Koordinationstreffen von NAG8 im Februar 2006 gegründet. Die wesentlichen Aufgaben der Gruppe sehen wir in:

On the 13th, 14th, 15th of February 2006 a court case against two Swiss police officers took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Michael Deiss and Claude Poget were charged with causing bodily harm through negligence. They were in court after nearly killing climbers Martin Shaw and Gesine Wenzel during the protests against the G8 in Evian. On Friday 17 February the
verdict of this private prosecution came through with an acquittal of the two policemen [Read verdict press release (doc. File) by Martin and Gesine].

In May 2003, during the protest against the G8 summit in Evian there was an action on a motorway bridge between Geneva and Lausanne, a route used by the delegates to get to the G8 summit.

The police cut the climbing rope and nearly killed two activists. Now the Swiss policeman who cut the rope and his senior officer are in court. They are charged with bodily harm with negligence...

Über eine Mailingliste bin ich auf einen Eintrag in dem Aktivisten-Blog www.anarchogeek.com aufmerksam geworden in dem auf ein Dokument hingewiesen wird namens "Destabilizing Networks". Der Text wurde von Mitarbeitern der Carnegie Mellon Universität in Pittsburgh verfasst und vom "Office of Naval Research" der US Navy unterstützt und im November 2001 veröffentlicht. Es geht darin um das Grundverständnis über sog. "sozio-technische" Netzwerke und wie man diese am besten destabilisieren kann.

Der folgende Text basiert auf einem Referat, das kurz nach den Protesten in Genua von einer Psychologin auf einer Veranstaltung in Zürich gehalten wurde. Das Skript ist von nicht psychotherapeutisch ausgebildeten Laien ausformuliert worden. Dennoch wollen wir es veröffentlichen, da es ansonsten wenig verfügbares Material für von Traumatisierung Betroffene gibt (nicht nur in Genua!).
